The Lewis & Clark Law Review welcomes manuscripts reflecting original scholarship in any area(s) of law. We publish pieces in the following categories:

  • Articles and Essays. We are looking for originality, current legal relevance, a clear thesis, effective organization, good writing, and proper citations. Articles on the process of legal education and book reviews are rarely selected.
  • Lewis and Clark Law Student Notes and Comments. Please note that we publish student notes and comments written by Lewis & Clark Law School students only. Lewis & Clark Law students should contact the Submissions Editor for more information on the student paper selection process.

Citations to authority in a manuscript should conform to the most recent edition of The Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation (Harvard Law Review Association) .
